Frequently Asked Questions
New Patients & Appointments
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we welcome new patients. Contact our office or request an appointment online to get started.
Do I need a referral to see a prosthodontist?
No referral is required — you're welcome to contact us directly to schedule a consultation. Many of our patients are also referred by their general dentist for specialized care.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring a photo ID, your insurance information (if applicable), a list of current medications, and any recent dental X-rays or records from a previous dentist.
What are your office hours?
We're open Monday from 8AM to 12PM, and Tuesday through Thursday from 8AM to 4:30PM. We're closed Friday through Sunday. See our Contact page for full details.
Insurance & Payment
Do you accept dental insurance?
We operate on a fee-for-service basis, meaning payment is due at the time service is rendered. As a courtesy, we'll submit insurance benefit claims on your behalf, and any reimbursement your plan provides is paid directly to you.
What payment methods do you accept?
For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, credit cards (Visa®, Mastercard®, American Express®, Discover®, JCB®, Diners Club® and Union Pay®), and e-wallets (Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay, Google Pay™).
How long does it take for insurance to reimburse a claim?
Most insurance companies respond within four to six weeks. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. See our Finance page for our full financial policy.
Treatment & Procedures
What is a prosthodontist, and how is that different from a general dentist?
A prosthodontist is a dentist with additional specialized training beyond dental school, focused on the diagnosis, treatment planning, and restoration of complex dental and oral conditions — from a single tooth to a full mouth reconstruction.
How long does treatment take?
Treatment timelines vary depending on the complexity of your case, ranging from a single visit for simple procedures to several months for full mouth reconstructions. We'll walk you through a personalized timeline during your consultation.
Is treatment painful?
We use modern techniques and anesthesia to keep you comfortable throughout your treatment. Most patients report minimal discomfort during recovery.
Do you place dental implants?
Yes. We provide implant-supported crowns and bridges, implant-supported dentures, and implant-supported full arch fixed prostheses, including All-On-X/Teeth In a Day treatment.
